When we sing with Voice live 2 tone shaper on ( at any setting )
and sing softly and maybe fade away a little from the mic
it seems like the unit cuts out quickly and when you come back to the mic it cuts in not very smooth
    is this normal
we don’t notice it when singing at louder levels just on lower levels.
    any thoughts

    Hiya Jamie,

My first thought with relation to your issue would be to make sure you have the latest update (1.1.00) as there were a few fixes and new features included. You can download this via the Voice Support application.

If you have done this already, I’d suggest looking at your gate settings which can be accessed via the TONE button. It may be that your gate threshold is set too high.

Let me know how you get on with this!

    Best wishes,

    Joey

I will let you know if this helps
    cheers

    Hey Joey,
to follow up with the Voice Live 2, it seems to working no clamping down on the sound.
actually the update put on a new gate feature in the tone panel that i didn’t have.
but now I seem to have a different problem.
when my piano midi is plugged in and i tap on the sustain pedal the whole unit just turns off
and of course makes a big loud noise if the pa. this is intermittent . I can play for 30 min okay then all of the sudden it happens
if I just sing and don’t use the the midi connection i have not seen this problem
