After some lengthy delays, the new version of VoiceSupport is ready for download. The new version has many new features as well as access to more content. The most anticipated feature is the new drag and drop preset management view. All the new content can be filtered to see what you want. Singers wanting to learn more about their craft will enjoy access to VoiceCouncil articles and videos that cover topics ranging from warming up, breathing and getting gigs.

Hi, I read the manual and will soon install VS 1.1.
I think this tool will improve VL2′s handling and effectiveness.
Are you planning to widen your software functionality to include graphical comparison and editing of the presets on usb-connected pc/mac’s? Another useful function could be moving the contents of a single preset tab (e.g. harmony) back and forth.

Hi. I downloaded it on Mac 10.6 and unfortunately it doesn’t work. Ever time I start the programm it shuts down again. I tried it on another mac, where it worked for a while. I tried to register and got the confirmation to be succesfully registered and will receive a mail to activate the account but I never received a mail to activate the account. Then I tried again and I was told the email and username is already in use..
Then as I connected the VL2 it first didn’t recognize the device and when it finally worked then it loaded up to Preset 79 and got stuck. I shut it down and ever since then I couldn’t start VoiceSupport on this mac either. Now my problem is that I can’t work and change things on VL2 because when “maybe” someday VoiceSupport works all the Presets on VL2 will be reset back to factory setting.
I had the problem with shutting down after starting about 1 or 2 weeks ago already with the “old” voice support.
Well, at the moment I am pretty pissed – I really like VL2, but the software things is just very annoying. I hope it’ll work by tomorrow. But still – the software seems not very reliable. Sorry, if I seem to be a little picky, but I just had to say this.
Installed it on my ancient G4 PowerMac running Tiger. It craps out every time whether a Harmony G-XT is connected or not. I’ll have to take both my G-XTs back to the apartment on Sunday and give it a shot with the Mini running Snow Leopard there. As long as it works somewhere…that’s what’s important.
Doesn’t work on my MDD running Leopard either. No Windows machines here. But I know it works on the Mini in the apartment. Will have to wait until Sunday afternoon.

Honestly, this is very frustrating. For all of the benefits and features of the VL2, it’s like one step forward and two steps back with each new update.
Why isn’t there an editor like Vyzor for the VL2? That would have been standard and included with other hardware. Why is it not available already?
I’d like an answer, because if there isn’t one coming, or it’s going to take a year for one to come out, I’m returning my VL2.I paid $999 for my VL2, and I’d like it to deliver on it’s potential for that price.
In the meantime, preset management is great, but VoiceSupport needs to goto the preset on the VL2 with a double-click. It is a huge pain in the @** to look at the entire list of presets, then have to scroll all the way through to audition one on the device.

Wow… I just got the VL2 I registered my machine but I didn’t use my USB to upload anything yet.
Looking at what everyone elses problems are I’m getting kinda shook about the situation.
This thing was not at all cheap.
My first issue with this machine is controling the pitch/key. I want to turn it off completely. Can I do that? Because if I go off it makes me sound crazy. I like to do Ebm and do not see that in the at all within this machine. I feel like I’ve went through everything to find out how to take control of the pitch/key. I thought I turned it off. But I guess I didn’t. I’ve made my own pre-sets and everything. Just can’t seem to do something that I would think could be so simple.
I just got my friend to buy this machine who sings perfect pitch and was getting thrown everywhere. She called on me for help… shoot I can’t help. I have the same issues.

I’ll definitely pass on the requests, especially the idea of making VoiceSupport load/choose the current preset. Why isn’t there one included? Because it didn’t make the cut. Whenever a product is designed TC-Helicon choose priorities for the product. In the case of VoiceLive 2 – sound, complete control in live performance, quality/robustness of construction, upgradability… all these things made it to the top of the list and the editor didn’t.
TC-Helicon has said in past they are aware of what customers are looking for in their software. There are customers who want an editor, but even more customers wanted preset management. Therefore, preset management made it to the front of the features list with VoiceSupport. These kind of features get added because “upgrade-ability” was a priority with the creation of VoiceLive 2. There are no confirmed plans to offer an editor, but the request is definitely in the wish list!

i own a Harmony G and have just upgraded to an XT but the harmonies dont sound till the harmony G XT control knob is at 1/4 past o’clock ? No harmonies at all till 1/4 past this isnt right correct ?
I have have used Harmony G for 2 years and this control is set to about 5 to o’clock
Have updated the firmware today to the latest.
I have requested support from TC support but it could take days and may need to send it back.
any help on this?

So far, so good. Somebody at TC’s tech support waved their wand, and it now works on my Mini. I won’t be home until later tonight to try it on my older G4s. But just having the Mini working is great.

Update for Mac OSX Users Leopard 10.5.8 : The latest Voice-Support was crashing each time I started it but having downloaded the Latest Java Update it now works like a dream – love bing able to drag and drop the presets into the order I need them.
Hope this helps any other Mac Users who have reported a similar issue

yesterday I installed the new update on my pc (Win XP Pro – SP 3). But the software doesnt work. Everytime I’ve startet VoiceSupport, the software stops by reading the preset. I already resetet my VL2 but everytime the same problem. I can’t rescan my VL2, I can’t go to the options in VoiceSupport… Nothing helps.
What can I do?

I got some issues with the latest update for the Harmony G XT! Sometimes the Harmony G XT crashes down and the only thing I can hear is a awful pitched sound when I sing – (and no, my voice isn’t that awfull) . When I disconnect and reconnect the power plug, everything is fine again!! Any suggestions?
